Modular Typeface
Meander & Flo is a custom modular typeface built using two simple shapes — a square and a quarter circle — to create the full English alphabet and numbers. The typeface was featured on a poster exhibited at East Carolina University, where it caught the attention of the Dean of Students and the Art Director.
They then selected only three students, including myself, to use our typefaces in designing bookmarks for an upcoming luncheon fundraiser.

The poster showcases the full typeface in white over bold, diagonal color gradients on a black background. It highlights the type’s modular design with a vibrant, modern layout and includes the base elements at the bottom for context.

Using Meander & Flo, the bookmark reads “ECU 2023”.
